One of the leading world search engines, Google, confused on its website the colors of the Russian flag. The flag was posted on the Google website after Thursday Russia was named the host of the 2018 World Cup Championship.

The Russian flag has three solid-colored stripes of white, blue and red from top to bottom, however Google reversed the red and blue stripes. "We apologize for the mistake that occurred, which was caused by human factor," a representative of the Google Russian office said. "We quickly corrected the colors of the flag and we expect our users to understand."The correct flag dedicated to the Russian victory in the football bid is on the Google website.
